This review is a long time coming- I LOVE HOBBS. I would not go anywhere else. I have been taken advantage of by car dealers in the past- in fact was ripped off when I bought my older sons first car. So when it came time for me to purchase a car for myself I was definitely scared. But I stopped in Hobbs on a whim and met with Julie who I fell in love with because she is honest and genuinely cares. I explained to her my past experiences and what I needed in a car. I am a single mom with two sons, one already driving so I needed an affordable and safe car. I purchased a Subaru for under $3100. When my older son needed a car I naturally went back to Hobbs!!! This time I met Shelleigh and the owner Mr. Hobbs himself!! A stoic man kinda intimidating at first! I must also add that Shelleigh knows more about vehicles than most men!! She rocks!! I purchased a Ford Explorer for $3500. My son was living in NY at the time and when he drove home the alternator went. I called Hobbs and told them what happened and they said bring it in, they will fix it no cost to me. Unfortunately the vehicle was in NY and couldn't drive to NH. Mr Hobbs said well how about if we split the cost to have it repaired in NY. REALLY?? I mean com on, who does this?? HOBBS does!!!!! I then went to Hobbs for my younger sons car. His brother bought him a Volkswagen for $3700. Mr Hobbs was there this day and as I mentioned he can be hard to read, but when I told him this was the third vehicle I bought here, he hugged me!! I mention this fact because although he may be hard to read he is actually and awesome businessman. If you want warm and fuzzy he is not, but if you want a vehicle that is safe, reliable, and worth what you paid then this place is for you. The subaru was driven for 3 years before being sold for $1000 and I am still driving the Ford Explorer and my son still has the Volkswagen. Other than routine repairs for older vehicles they run great and look great too. Hobbs does all my work for decent prices and excellent results. They get my vehicles in and out when ever I need them. My sons friend bought his car there and is thrilled!!! I would recommend Hobbs to everyone. If i ever move from NH I will travel back to Hobbs for any vehicle needs I have. I trust them and I don't trust easy. They have not only become my business for my vehicle needs, they have become my friends. A.P. Manchester NH 11/12/12

My story is true, I don't know if anyone there remembers this, but I and my daughter certainly do! I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle from your company, and I have referred several to do so as well. It is difficult to find a used car dealer who isn't a rip off, as far as we're concerned we DID find one... Hobbs!
They say first impressions are lasting impressions, and it is so true. Thank You so much for your integrity, I will not stop defending that integrity where/when I can. We still appreciate the help we got from your company even though we bought "As Is/Where Is"!!! Keep up the good work!
